"Tarnation" "What in the 'Tarnation'!" We all remember the old exclamation that our elders used when they were surprised, shocked,or just plain flabbergasted. This is the kind of impression that this quartet wanted to convey with their singing when they chose the name "Tarnation." Some of their friends have lovingly describe their singing as "in your face" barbershop and that has kept them entertaining in and around the Sheboygan area for ten years and counting, even while undergoing a personel change about four years ago. The current members of "Tarnation" include: Ron McGettrick (bass), an engineer at the Vollrath Company; Bill Wetzel (lead), a retired Howards Grove fifth-grade teacher; Lou Jaeger (tenor), a retired electrician; and Dave Becker (baritone), who operates the Greenbush Trading Post garage.
